What kind of clients do you work with?

Small Business CFO works with small businesses in a variety of industries, service, retail / wholesale, and non-profit organizations.  We also work with business across the country, having supported clients outside of the metro New York region.

What are your rates?

Small businesses vary in needs budgets, and Small Business CFO tailors its services and rates appropriately.  Consulting engagements typically run from $1,000 to $5,000, while CFO services range from a monthly average of $350 to $3,500.  We have a number of standard programs developed within these needs and budgets, and are more than happy to discuss what services would be appropriate to your situation and provide a quote for those services.

Do you do taxes?

No.  Small Business CFO exists for helping businesses grow, so the focus is on making profitability.  However, we recognize that taxes are an expense to be minimized and have relationships with several firms in the tri-state region that we can recommend.

Do you bill hourly or on retainer?

Generally we bill hourly.  In the event that a pre-arranged fee is provided, we will establish minimum and maximum times we anticipate for the engagement, and will adjust fees if outside those established parameters.

Do you give discounts?

We provide discounts in support of non-profit organizations and if services are delivered remotely.

What are your terms?

We work on retainer.  Credit balances at the end of engagements are refunded to clients.
